Proteins such as egg whites, chicken, legumes, pulses, milk, dairy products, sprouts, soya are essential for hair growth and to make the hair shaft strong. In addition, Iron and biotin supplements should be taken daily for three months to prevent hair fall.

I am 40 years old female, I’m having scars/pigmentation on my face for the past 5 years. Can you suggest remedial treatment. I also have sever hairfall, tried many shampoos like Protak K clinic plus & Topisal lotion but no help. Kindly help.
You should avoid sun exposure. Do not step out without a sunscreen and an umbrella. Take vitamin C & E supplements to prevent further pigmentation. Use a kojic acid and arbutin based cream at night. Apply a mixture of yogurt and turmeric for a few minutes everyday. Skin lightening peels at a skin clinic will help.

I am having serobic dermatitis(exact name forgotten) and tried best class ointment, solutions, medicine but after few days it comes to original state
Seborrhoeic Dermatitis results in excessive flaking of skin. You should avoid soap bars for bath. Use a shower gel instead to avoid the ripping off of the skin barrier layer. After bath, use a coconut milk based moisturiser on the entire skin. Apply this on a slightly moist skin surface in order to trap the moisture in the skin. Eat a lot of flax seeds, nuts, evening primrose oil supplements. Use a ketoconazole cream on the affected parts once a day

during cold season my skin (whole body particularly hands legs and waist) becomes very dry and somtimes like cracked and itch a lot
Hi. You must moisturise your skin at least twice a day. Apply a natural moisturiser which has coconut milk. coconut milk penetrates into the deeper layers of the skin and locks the moisture within the skin. Thus it stays for long hours and hydrates the skin. It does not cause irritation as it is natural and it does not lead to blackheads or whiteheads as it does not occlude the skin surface. Once moisturised, the itching will automatically reduce. Make sure to apply the moisturiser on the entire body including the heels and soles

my name is neha. my friend jiya has a pimple problem which are not going easily. the doctor has advised her to stay away from junk food but c does it…. do you have any remedy to solve this problem?? its all in her face?
Jiya should use a salicylic acid based face wash twice a day. Avoid picking at pimples as it would cause infection and increase spots. Apply a clindamycin based gel everyday. Avoid chocolates and processed dairy products.

hi, i am suffering from chronic dark circle, i was used several skin cream for eye and home remedies also but result is not good i am very hopeless now pls help me!
Have you tried applying few drops of coconut water everyday for a few minutes? Dryness and friction will increase the dark circles. Sleep for 7 hours, avoid rubbing the skin around eyes. Also apply a coconut milk based moisturiser to hydrate the skin and make it supple.

i am having dandruff for last 2 years. I have taken all sort of treamnts and all in vain. Kindly suggest me a fiesible solution. I am 29 yrs old.
Dandruff could occur due to a hormonal disturbance or even stress. Infection, injury to scalp, faulty diet and excessive use of hair cosmetics like sprays, gels, etc. can also cause dandruff. Wash your hair and scalp frequently – it could be daily or every other day depending on how how stubborn your dandruff is. Use a shampoo with zinc pyrythione and ketoconazole. Do not take hot showers. Apply a solution containing salicylic acid to release the scales. Also apply warm coconut oil twice a week to moisturise the scalp and reduce the scales

1. Wash your face with a salicylic acid based face wash at least twice a day. 2. Increase the intake of citrus fruits such as oranges, grapes, lime and lemon and other food stuff which are high in vitamin C and zinc. 3. Drink plenty of water. 4. Do not pick or squeeze the pimples as this causes infection, pigmentation and scarring. 5. Avoid the use of oily cosmetics, cleansing milk and gels. 6. Do not apply excessive hair oil if you have acne over the forehead. 7. Avoid stress factors. 8. Avoid direct sun exposure 9. Apply a natural moisturiser daily. 10. Apply a hydroquinone and tretinoin based cream on the pigmentation on alternate nights

Hi I’m 28 yrs old female. currently im using dermadew soap. Its giving good results. Is it good to cont. fr ong period. I’m using ‘Cetaphil’ as lotion to my face looks dull. Plz suggest me what can i do for Glow and healthy skin
• Follow a daily skin-care routine daily which includes specially moisturizing as it is the most vital and basic step to beautiful healthy skin. Using natural fruit based moisturizers with coconut is very beneficial because it penetrates into the skin and locks the moisture inside keeping it hydrated throughout the day. • Exfoliate the skin at least once a in a fortnight followed by moisturizing the skin. This procedure removes the dead skin and provides glow to skin. One can use natural ingredients such as grated coconut or strawberry crush to exfoliate the skin. • Drink a lot of water to keep skin hydrated. Coconut water is also useful for skin as it cools the internal system and washes away the toxins from body, giving you clear healthy skin. • You can also prepare home-made packs like turmeric mixed with coconut milk as this will whitens the skin and provide deep moisturization using the benefits of natural ingredients.

i am 35 years old and i have the problem of eczema on my fingers and white patches problem.suggest me the treatment.
Avoid soaps ,detergents and fragrance based creams as these may increase your eczema. Apply coconut oil before cooking or cutting vegetables as the acid in them could aggravate your eczema. Coconut oil not only moisturises but also forms a protective barrier on the skin. Once done with all your work, wash your hands with a gentle cleanser and apply a generous amount of coconut milk based moisturiser on the hands. This will hydrate & repair the damaged skin from within. At bedtime, use a mixture of coconut milk based moisturiser with a mild cortisone cream to get rid of the eczema.Take evening primrose oil supplements.

i m 32 years male, i face the problem of under eye dark circle , how can i remove under eye darkness ?
Dark circles could be either hereditary or due to low haemoglobin or inadequate sleep and stress or if you have a condition called atopic dermatitis where you tend to rub your eyes too much. Try to catch on 6-7hrs of sleep. Dont be in the habit of rubbing the skin under the eyes. If you are working on a computer, make sure you wear UV protective glasses. take iron supplements and vitamin C supplements or citrus fruits everyday for at least 3 months. Have less salt in your diet. Apply a good natural moisturiser during the day. You may apply a paste of coconut & coconut water before going to bed.Leave it for a few minutes and rinse. For persistent dark circles, you may have to undergo a series of Arginine and lactic acid peels.

Any sunscreen with an SPF of 30 and which has both UVA and UVB protection is good. What is important is that one must use it the right way. Apply a sunscreen 15minutes before stepping out in the sun.Use it every two hours. Use a thick layer. It does appear white but gets absorbed within a few minutes. Use it even on cloudy days. Use it when indoors if there is sunlight coming into the house/office. Alo when working on the computer. The best moisturiser for keepingthe skin soft and supple would be a natural one such as any moisturiser with coconut milk. It is safe, non irritant and hydrates all the layers of the skin thus making the skin soft and supple.

Have two close friends wedding back to back next month..Any quick tips you can help me with for the same….
• Moisturizing your skin is important, throughout the year to wear the beautiful scintillating skin that is irresistible to touch. Skin needs moisturization through the year to keep it delightfully soft and supple.. Natural moisturizers are a boon for skin! Regular use of coconut based moisturizers helps in reducing scaliness and roughness of the skin. They have a unique mechanism of moisturizing and hydrating the skin by locking the moisture through penetrating deep into the skin without occluding the surface .This not only make them effective but ensures that the skin stays moisturized for longer periods. This is very useful during holidays as you can moisturize your skin just once and be assured of soft supple skin through the day. Make sure you drink adequate water and it hydrates the skin and provides the necessary glow You can exfoliate your skin using natural scrubs like grated coconut pack mixed in coconut water or crushed almond which will gently remove your top layer. Avoid direct sun exposure. Eat plenty of coloured fruits which are rich in antioxidants to give you a radiant skin

hi, i’m almost 40 & since few months, have noticed bags under my eyes. I’m very conscious about this. I’ve started keeping ice in that area.
Is there a more permanent solution to this besides fillers & surgery, that are effectiive alternatives? thanks.

Reduce the salt intake in your diet.Avoid late nights. Avoid alcohol. This will prevent the bags from increasing.Try applying potato peels soaked in coconut water. If this doesnt help, I am afraid fillers or surgery would be the only option.

a gentle pedicure at home would be helpful. Soak feet in warm water, use a grated coconut scrub to remove all the dead skin. Then use a natural moisturiser preferably a coconut milk based moisturiser which has the properties of moisturising the skin from deep within and locking the moisture for long hours. In addition to this, moisturise even during the day immeditately after bath. wear cotton socks all the time. Avoid using harsh soaps

hi, i have brittle hair, gets worse in winter – how to make it soft and full?
Use a good conditioner for your hair . If the hair continue to remain dry, use coconut oil as it nourishes and moisturises the hair shaft as well as the roots. Do not blow dry your hair, this will cause more dryness. Frequent colouring, perming, straightening can make the hair dry, lustreless and brittle. So avoid such treatments frequently.

Use a mild baby shampoo if you have to wash your hair daily. Apply coconut oil to condition and nourish your hair. Take biotin, iron, calcium supplements daily. Increase your protein intake.
