This week’s answers:
1. Hello. There is a lot of pimples, freckles on my skin and I tried a lot of creams and soaps but no result appear and my skin, it is also very oily. Plz Madam tell me which products are useful and which type of food I should eat.
Mr khan, firstly pls start with a salisylic acid face wash thrice day, that get your oil on the surface in control. Make sure your scalp is dandruff free. Also use a cream with benzoyl peroxide at night all over the face. Pls
do meet your skin doctor for antibiotics. Freckles are not easily treatable. Try creams with lactic acid and use a good sunscreen during the day. There is very little literature on food and acne. But however pls do avoid sweets and dairy products.
2. Kindly give suggestion in natural remedies for hair loss.
Dear lotus firstly look at your diet closely. Protein, calcium, iron are a few important nutrition that needs to be adequate . Also then oiling is your best bet. My favorite now is parachute hair fall therapy. Coconut oil is an all time favorite, I grew up on this as a hair care habit. Coconut oil is very light so it penetrates into your hair shaft. It’s a great hydrant. Improves your hair health so it makes your hair withstand all the damage that pollution, wind, styling that you would put your hair through.
3. I have a problem of hair fall and they have become very thin. My hair texture is straight and is irregular from the tip. what to do please give me effective solution.
Please do get your doctor to check your hormone and nutrition blood profile. Once that is taken care of, supplements are available specially for the hair, like folic hair, proanagen, BTN , etc. you could take any of these for 3 months. Incorporate oiling in your lifestyle to eventually improve actual hair health while immediately it will make your hair hydrated and shiny. Coconut milk as a pack is my mom’s mantra.
4. Please advice hair dyer is good for hair or not, hair fall will occur or not while using dyer. please advise
Dear Brindha, if you have to dry your hair please towel dry it first half way through, then use a dryer at a low level of heat. And do not use the ones with comb attached so you don’t tug on your hair when it is semi dry. It is going to cause more hair breakage rather than fall from the root.
