1. Sir, I am 58 years 160 cmsin height and 63kg in Wt. I am sffering from diabetes from last18 years and HBP from last 1and half years. Now bothnormal in range.
My problem is heavy wt,,? Iit may be 6 kgs, How can I reduced . Please give me how much calorie required per day As I am vegitarian and doing so much walking and climbing upstairs in home.

To lose weight you need to burn calories with exercise and watch your diet. Consume a low-fat diet and eat small, healthy meals at regular intervals to raise your body’s metabolism. I suggest you read my book ‘the four week countdown diet’ and follow the diet plan given in the book for best results.

2. Hi.Iam 23 years female and my height is 5.4″ inch and my weight is 62. getting belly fat. am exercising yet its not working out.help me reduce my tummy. thanks in advance.

3. Hi, I want to loose my belly fat. I am doing workout for 1 hour at least 5 days a week. However I am loosing wait but not my stomach. Kindly advise me how can I loose my belly and get a flat stomach.

To lose weight or body fat (from any part of your body, including your belly) you need to burn calories with exercise and watch your diet. Consume a low-fat diet and eat small, healthy meals at regular intervals to raise your body’s metabolism.

You could try the following exercises

Abdominal crunch (exercise for the belly)
Lie on your back with your knees bent, and your hands behind your head. Lift your shoulders off the floor and curl your legs towards your ribcage; simultaneously. Slowly, return to starting position.
Do 2 sets of 16 reps.

4. Dear Doctor Namita, Hi my name is sanjeev and I am 37 years male married. My height is around 5.6 and 74 kg of weight. I am asthmatic patient. I am using SARETIDE ACCUHALER once in a day since October 2011. I try to keep proper diet like my day start with 7-8 nuts at 7.00 am and goes to gym for 45-60 minutes daily come back home after having shower I have my breakfast
2 chapatis with vegetable and a glass of milk.
12 pm I have one apple.
2 pm I have 3 chapatis with dal.
5 pm I have some snacks or 2-3 biscuits
8.30 pm I have 2-3 chapatis with vegetable and 9.30 glass of milk.
This is my routine diet.
After that I am putting weight day by day, in january 2011 I was around 64 kg and today is 74.5. Please help me to reduce weight. Thanks & Rgds

If your diet and lifestyle habits have been the same and you have gained around 10kgs without reason, I suggest you need to consult your doctor. He may advice some tests to figure out the reason for weight gain.
