Why do some kids get more acne than others ?
Various factors play an important role in exaggerating acne. Some of them are- hereditary factors, hormonal imbalance, stress, smoking and rarely dietary factors. When the patient’s parents had pimples in their youth then there is a high chance that their kids also suffer from the same problem. Young girls with hormonal imbalance like Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) also get severe acne. Stress of studies and peer pressure of collegues can lead to more acne. Diet containing junk, oily food and milk- milk products can lead to increased acne.

What is your solution to remove warts and how to prevent warts?
Warts is a viral infection. It spreads from person to person. Treatment includes daily local applications like tretinoin cream, combination of salicyclic + Lactic acid. However the best method of treatment includes removal with electrocautery or radiofrequency machines and applications of strong irritant lotions like tricholroacetic acid and phenol. The patient should be advised to follow-up in few days to check if the infection has been completely cured.
How to remove black patches that come due to aging?
In old age, Black patches can be due to sun damage like seborrheic keratosis, freckles. It can also occur due to excess use of depigmenting creams easily available in markets. So depending on the cause of these patches treatment should be done. In case of sun damaged skin use a good sunscreen and get the patches removed with electrocautery and radiofrequency machines. The markets creams should be stopped immediately. Various treatments like chemical peels, lasers, mesotherapy can be done to remove the dark patches.
How much water intake is enough for good skin?
6-8 glasses of water daily is required for good glowing skin.
Please advice how to remove dandruff?
Dandruff can be removed with regular use of anti-fungal shampoos containing ketoconazole, zinc pyrithione, etc. Once the dandruff is removed then continue these shampoos atleast once in fortnight or once a month. If the dandruff is severe then kindly get it examined by a Dermatologist.
How to treat hair loss at middle age?
Middle-age hairloss can be due to hormonal factors which is called Androgenetic Alopecia or it can be due prolonged illness, excess starvation, after pregnancy etc.
which is called Telogen Effluvium. Depending upon the grade of hairloss we treat the patients. Oral tablets containing biotin, saw palmetto, zinc, calcium panthothenate etc can be used. Lotions containing minoxidil, peptides etc is also used. In advanced stages of anti-hairloss treatments like mesotherapy, vampire therapy can be used.
How to treat facial hair for teenage girls and middle age women?
Facial hair indicates hormonal imbalance in women. Always consult a dermatologist and get a complete hormone profile done. Later contraceptive pills can be started to regularize the disturbed hormone levels. Also along with this patient should start laser hair removal to get rid of unwanted facial hair.
