All isometric exercises can improve bone strength also. Milk and milk products can improve bone strength.

2. To gain Vit D from sunlight, at what time is it necessary to be out in the sun?

Early morning sunlight is less harmful. It is the best time.

3  dear doctor, my mother was detected with osteoporosis at 52 yrs. Is it hereditary? How can it be prevented?

It’s not hereditary. It can be prevented by regular exercises, a calcium rich diet and Vit D supplements if needed.

4. I have back pain for last 3 yrs. Can I strength training with light weights?
