This week’s answers:
1. Hello Doctor, my son is 5 yrs old, he has flat foot. What is the cause and how to remedy this?
There are many causes for flat foot. It needs a lot of x-rays and CT scans. The cause is unknown. When the boy complains of foot pain or any other thing you need to treat. We usually prescribe loose fitting footwear with a medial arch support.
2. sir, my age 56, knee pain for last 4 yrs, how to treat, cant climb stairs
Your history suggests that you might have osteoarthritis of your knees. You can take some analgesics and physiotherapy for the time being.
3. What is juvenile arthritis? My niece has been diagnosed with this, is this curable?
Arthritis at a young age is called juvenile arthritis. Some varieties are not curable. You can keep it under control so that the patient doesn’t have pain.
