1. Dear Sir, My wife met an accident on 15.02.2012 & Her lower knee and bone fractured (Type VI) Operation done and a plate and few screws fixed & Everything fine till Now. (at M/s
Ganga Hospitals, Coimbatore) My Question is, when she can start giving load to her fractured Leg. The X ray after 6 Weeks of operation looks that the bones are yet to Join. I can see the gap between bones where plate is fixed. My doctor says that this is normal & you can start giving load 25%. Awaiting your reply at the earliest.

Usually at the legs and knees it will take 16 to 24 weeks for bones to unite. The fracture gap in the x-ray will take even as long as 2 years to disappear. The protocaol is same everywhere.
2. Sir, Its regarding my spouse she is having continuous pain in his finger adjacent to thumb in her right hand we have consulted the doctor and he advised X ray in which nothing comes out. Could u please advice me what type of treatment and test shall be given to her for getting remedy to this pain. Hope u will reply to my query.Thanks
What is the age of the patient? Is she having the whole arm pain at times?
3. Dear Sir, Greetings. Some time back I was suffering from periarthritics in my left hand and I am completely alright. I am a diabetic but things are under control. Now I have pain in the right hand, but no pain in the joint but only in the muscles. I could not take my hand in the back, but rotating is not a problem. Can you help me to get out of it?
This will also settle slowly. Regular gentle exercises. Hot water fomentation. Pain killers when needed.
