Orthopaedics Q&A: Warm up is essential even for regular sports

1. Sir, Now I am aged 60,before one yr I just ran to catch a bus for just 10 meter distance, at that time I had a pain in right side upper foot i.e. backside of lower leg, after that I had
a borne fracture treatment they told to me it is not of dislocation, even now I am feeling
pain when I stood for walk for some distance after that I am OK, this is continpously
going on.

Sir, you need further investigation to see whether you have a bone or nervous problem. Depending on that you need a proper treatment.

2. Do children playing regular sports have to undergo sports fitness training to prevent

Not necessary. Organised sporting activity is an exercise. They need good warm up everyday before the games.

3. im 37 yrs old and get knee pain in cold weather. when i do exercises for the knees its fine but when i stop for 1 or 2 weeks, it starts again. will this lead to arthritis?
No this doesn’t lead to arthritis.
