Standing poses are good to strenghten the spine and legs. You can do setubandhasan and virbhadrasan as well.
2. hello. how do Yoga exercises help you become more aware of your body?
The alighnement in the asanas help you to experience a state of physical awareness by waking up the dormant muscles and cells which in turn helps to create inner awareness due to the cleansing effect on the nerves.
3. Please suggest some yoga asanas for a flat stomach
ritu-supta dandasan, jathara parivartanasan.
4. I am practising simple yoga for back pain. is there a difference between the benefit of iyengar and hatha yoga for back pain?
All asanas are the same. Each school of yoga concentrates on different aspects of asan such as alignment, strength, flexibility. The benefits are deep rooted if you are precise and diligent and one cannot make comparisons. Based on your ailment or problem, you will figure out what suits you as only that will work.
