Diabetes is best controlled by knowledge and by a positive attitude.

There has been a strong link between blood sugar levels and lifestyles, attitude and conceptions.

Chronic emotional stress or emotional shock can play as much havoc with a diabetic’s blood sugar.

Stress can make or break you. The secret is adaptability.

· Establish healthy routines—diet, sleep and posture.

· Regular tests

· Emotional implications of the disease and how to overcome anxiety and swings in blood sugar levels.

· How, what, when to eat and what not to eat.

· Exercising spine and various muscles of the body.

· Breathing and concentration through asana pranayamas and kriyas.

· Yogic relaxation.

· Following yogic way of life.

All the best and God bless.

2. Hello Sir, You have mentioned above in the first response ( relating to PCOD ) that under no circumstance should one do inverted or prone poses in yoga. Hal asan ,Sarvang asan,Surya Namaskar are meant to rejuvenate thyroid and pituitary gland functioning and nourish them with rich supply of blood which in turn helps to produce the right amount of hormones.

Do you recommend these asanas?Because I have been advised to do 7 pranayamas and certain yogic postures ( which includes hal asan, sarvang asan,Bhujang asan ,dhanur asan etc.)
Meena
Practice of simple asanas can bring the right balance of hormones.
Inverted postures in certain conditions can have adverse effect.

3. I am 29-year-old female, my stomach is 31 cm. I want to reduce it to flat. Pls tell which exercises i should do.
